I'm not a limited company director, is this still for me?
Yes. While a some of the content references limited companies, the conversations, the thinking, and the frameworks apply to any business owner. If you're running a business and want to make better decisions around money and direction, you'll fit right in.
I already have an accountant - do I still need this?
Your accountant handles your compliance and your numbers. This is about understanding what those numbers mean and using them to make better business decisions. The two work really well together, and honestly, your accountant will probably be pleased you're thinking this way.
I'm really busy - how much time does it take?
As much or as little as you like. There's one live session per month, plus an always-on community space you can dip in and out of. Most members find even 30–60 minutes a month gives them something genuinely useful. You don't have to be everywhere all the time.
Who runs it?
The Balanced Business Hub is run by Nicola Hageman, Chartered Accountant, Profit Strategist and founder of The Numbers Quarter. Nicola works with owner-managed businesses every day and built this community because she kept seeing the same thing, business owners who were doing well on paper but feeling lost, stretched, or stuck. This is the space she wished existed as she was growing her business.
Will I actually get access to Nicola?
Yes. Nicola is active in the community and hosts the monthly Sessions herself. This isn't a community where the founder disappears after launch. The whole point is real conversations with people who actually know their stuff.
Where does the community live?
Inside Skool, a clean, simple platform that's easy to navigate. No algorithm, no noise, no getting lost in a Facebook feed. Just the community, the resources, and the conversations.
How do I access the sessions?
Once you're a member, you'll get everything you need via email and inside Skool. Sessions run on Zoom and recordings are added to the resource library afterwards, so you never miss out if life gets in the way.
Is this just for TNQ clients?
The Hub is open to anyone, though it's designed with our clients in mind. If you're already working with us, this is a great way to deepen your learning between sessions.
How does billing work?
You'll be charged £29 + VAT each month. You can cancel at any time and you won't be charged again.
When are the live calls?
Dates are announced each month inside the community. All calls are recorded so you can catch up if you can't make it live.
What happens if I cancel?
You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period, then your subscription ends. No awkward conversations needed.
